TRANSCEND-XR Partners Meet in Porto for the 2026 General Assembly

Partners of the TRANSCEND-XR project met in Porto for the 2026 General Assembly, kindly hosted by Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Over two days, consortium members reviewed the progress achieved across the project, and agreed on the priorities for the months ahead.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the ongoing development of the XR intervention, exchange experiences from the different work packages, and coordinate upcoming activities. Sessions also covered stakeholder engagement, ethics, implementation planning, dissemination, communication, and future exploitation of the project's results.

As the project moves into its second year, particular attention was given to ensuring that technical development, research activities and user involvement continue to progress in a coordinated way. Bringing together expertise from clinical practice, research, digital innovation and lived experience remains a defining feature of the project and an important driver of its work.

Beyond the formal agenda, the General Assembly offered valuable opportunities for discussion between partners, helping to strengthen collaboration across the consortium and prepare the next phase of implementation.

The consortium would like to thank Universidade Católica Portuguesa for hosting the meeting, and all partners for their active participation and continued commitment to the project.
